Mission

To secure national recognition for families who have lost a Veteran to suicide.

We exist to ensure these families are seen, honored, and supported—not overlooked.

Through the Green Star initiative, we are working to extend the American service banner tradition and establish a new symbol of recognition for a loss that has gone unacknowledged for far too long.

Our mission is driven by three core priorities:

Recognition

Advancing awareness and federal acknowledgment of families impacted by Veteran suicide.

Advocacy

Supporting legislative efforts, including H.R. 6022, to formalize the Green Star as a national designation.

Connection

Creating space for families to share their stories, feel seen, and be part of a broader community. No family should be invisible.
And no loss should go unrecognized.
