Aidan Chao serves as Government Relations Advisor to Green Star Families of America bringing nationally recognized political strategy and fundraising expertise to advance the organization’s legislative and advocacy mission.

Aidan is a seasoned political strategist who has played key roles in some of California’s most high-profile political campaigns and policy battles. While studying at the University of Pennsylvania, he began his political career in high school and has since participated in three election cycles, raising millions of dollars and distinguishing himself as an effective campaign manager and fundraiser for local, federal, and statewide candidates.

He is the President of Chao and Co. Consulting, a political fundraising and strategy firm, and currently chairs two nonprofit organizations: the Los Angeles County Taxpayers Association and CALHaven, a coalition of statewide elected officials he helped build. Earlier in his career, Aidan also served in leadership roles with the Act Against Hate Alliance and other youth-led civic organizations, while operating as a small business owner.

Aidan is a frequent contributor to and featured voice in regional and statewide newspapers across California, offering insight on elections, governance, and public policy.

At Green Star Families of America, Aidan provides strategic guidance on federal and state legislative engagement, coalition building, and political positioning—supporting the organization’s efforts to secure national recognition and lasting advocacy for Families of Veterans lost to suicide.
