Emma Roesner
CES (Chief Executive Secretary)
Emma serves as Executive Secretary of Green Star Families of America, providing organizational coordination, administrative leadership, and operational continuity in support of the organization’s national mission.
Emma is a graduate of Temple University and began her professional career as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Cooper University Hospital, where she gained firsthand experience working in high-pressure clinical environments and multidisciplinary care teams. She later transitioned into the healthcare technology field and currently works as an IT Analyst for Cooper University Health Care, supporting clinical systems and operational workflows. She maintains active Registered Nursing licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics, combining clinical insight with data, systems, and process optimization expertise.
As an active-duty Army spouse since 2018, Emma has navigated the demands of military life alongside her professional career. Her family has been stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Fort Bragg, North Carolina, experiences that give her a deep, lived understanding of the challenges faced by military Families. Her husband, Jim, is currently serving in the U.S. Army’s nurse anesthesia program, with continued active-duty service projected through at least 2028.
In her role with Green Star Families of America, Emma brings a unique blend of clinical discipline, technical proficiency, and executive organization, supporting leadership communications, documentation, scheduling, and internal coordination. Her background in healthcare, informatics, and military Family life strengthens the organization’s ability to operate with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy while advancing national recognition for Families of Veterans lost to suicide.
